How Does the Program Work?

First, BUY AN IPOD

You need to obtain an iPod shuffle, the easiest to use of all of the iPods.  It’s an easy click-on, click-off device, easier to use than a TV remote.  An iPod shuffle can be purchased at any Apple store, Best Buy, Radio Shack, many other electronics retailers or online.

Next, CALL US at 718-519-5840 or toll free 1-888-792-2247.

Call the IMNF or complete our online form, fax to 718-519-4240 and speak with one of our IMNF staff members to discuss the music you would like and the various packages available to set you up and support you.

To help us develop the play list for you/your loved one, we ask that you please complete our Personal Music Preference Assessment Form, which could be downloaded by clicking here.

Then, SEND YOUR IPOD to the attention of the Institute for Music Neurologic Function at 612 Allerton Avenue, Bronx, NY 10467, and we will load it with the music you request. All songs are purchased from iTunes.

How much does the music cost?
We use iTunes, the world’s most popular music service, to obtain our music. The cost per song is $.69, $.99 or $1.29 depending on the song. 100 $.69 songs, for instance, would cost $69 to begin. Fewer songs may be appropriate in some situations.
