Olanzapine in the Management of Behavioral Disturbances
and/or Psychosis in Demented Nursing Home Patients

Introduction

This is a multi-site study involving up to 100 patients, age 60 years or older suffering from psychiatric disorder, which should be treated with an antipsychotic drug.

Objective

To Find Out:

  • If Olanzaphine is effective and safe for the management of behavioral disturbances and/or psychosis in the elderly.
  • The effective dose range of Olanzapine in the management of behavioral disturbances and/or psychosis in the elderly demented patient.

This study is being funded by Eli Lilly and administered through Clinical Studies Ltd.
