Walk into the facility and you sense immediately the enthusiasm and congeniality that animates the Schnurmacher Center. It is an environment that reflects the Beth Abraham mission to make life better for people, one person at a time. It reflects, as well, the sentiments and ethics of the staff. These are people who enjoy their work and enjoy each other. Who derive profound satisfaction from helping people get the most they can out of life. The spirit is infectious, rejuvenating, buoying patients and helping generate an attitude of optimism and determination.

For some medical conditions, subacute care is a vital link in the recovery process from hospital to
home. At Schnurmacher, we provide that vital link in a safe, supportive, and caring environment for
conditions requiring physical, occupational, or speech therapy.

We are very proud to be recognized for the efforts of our dedicated staff. In the Spring of 2004, Schnurmacher was accepted as a Safety and Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP) participant by the Federal Office of Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). Acceptance into this program signals that Schnurmacher has exemplary employee safety and health practices. As a participant, Schnurmacher has a one-year exemption from OSHA-scheduled inspections.
Cheers to all the employees whose contributions have made Schnurmacher a safe and healthy workplace!
