The Subacute Medical Care Program at Beth Abraham provides an alternative to an acute care hospital stay in the case of certain medical conditions, such as pneumonia, stroke or post-surgical wound care.
In providing subacute medical care services, Beth Abraham draws on its extensive experience in long-term care to make sure patients are out of bed and mobile as quickly and as often as possible.
To speed the recovery process while providing a comfortable environment, Beth Abraham offers patients an on-site library, movies, snacks in the canteen and a variety of social activities.
